As I read the scriptures today, I came across a very beautiful saying from the Word of God.

Isaiah 55:8-9

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,"
declares the LORD.

"As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Has this ever crossed your mind? Sometimes we ask WHY GOD? We are children of God and truly there is no prohibition from questioning Our Heavenly Father! Go ahead, He is too loving to reject His children. He will speak to you, He did to me! Alleluia!

I have many a times felt in my deepest troubles why God does certain things to us, but truly, it is not a test to us merely but a strengthening factor God imposes in order for something better to be made of us. But most of all, there is more blessings and not curses in Christ. Reason being, our old self is no more and we are new like a child in the Lord. If I patiently persevere, that is when I see the good approaches very shortly and realise that He intended a good in the misfortune that took place. Amazing isn't it?

Truly I have met many fellow brethren who come to me seeking logic behind Christian doctrines. When we guide them towards opening their minds, I realize they indeed do not see what we see. It might be a wonder to them how in our mind, we see it differently. For example the Doctrine of Trinity. It has become the main topic they seek to prove us fools.

Brothers and Sisters, this is what I meant by how limited our minds are.

Let us ponder for a moment that everything pointed towards the Messiah from ancient times.....

  • The name Jesus comes from the Greek form of Hebrew Jehoshua (yehoshua), meaning Jehovah is salvation
  • Christ was prophesied by Zacharias not long before the Birth of Christ as in Luke 1:68
  • Prophesied by Isaiah during the 8th Century B.C. as in Isaiah 7:14 which says "Therefore the Lord Himself gives you a Sign. The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call Him Immanuel. He will eat curds and honey when he knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right (Immanuel means God with us)
  • Refer to Isaiah 9:6,-7, Psalm 89:3 - 4, Psalm 132:11, Psalm 2:6, Psalm 72:10, Isaiah 60:6, 1 Samuel 2:10, Micah 5:2, Numbers 24:17 and many more if you truly seek what was prophesied.

Shalom and God Bless you all!
